ENOUGH OF THE NOISE — GENERAL MUSA IS WORKING, OTHERS ARE SPECULATING

The latest comments from opposition figures like and allies of are nothing but recycled tactics push false narratives, manufacture imaginary ambitions, and attempt to divide a focused government of President Bola Tinubu.
Let’s be very clear:
Dragging into 2031 politics is a desperate distraction.
Nigeria is battling real security challenges TODAY, yet some are busy writing political fiction about tomorrow.
General Musa is not an ordinary figure he is one of Nigeria’s finest patriots, driven by intelligence, discipline, and an unshakable commitment to national service.
Despite pressure, criticism, and the weight of expectations, he has refused to give up.
At times, one is left to wonder how long did it take God to create such a rare breed?
As rightly observed by Victor Mathew Bobai, Public Affairs Analyst, General Musa represents a phenomenon of courage, loyalty, and resilience in service to Nigeria.
Let’s not pretend:
Some people were never comfortable with his return to lead the Defence Ministry after serving as CDS because they know his capacity, his influence, and the trust Nigerians have in him.
They question how he can end insecurity when he does not directly command troops or deploy boots on the battlefield. What they fail to understand is that his role is strategic, supervisory and can be operational , that is exactly why they resort to distractions through media stunts and propaganda.
The truth is simple: General has disrupted the interests of conflict entrepreneurs and dealt a heavy blow to war merchants who thrive on instability.
That is why they are uncomfortable.
The attempt to drag his name into political permutations, including speculative replacement narratives alongside , is clearly calculated and deliberately pushed across national and international platforms. Ironically, many Nigerians see such suggestions as a sign of his growing credibility and value, even as it could strengthen the re-election prospects of President Bola Tinubu.
But General Christopher Musa remains focused and disciplined. His position is clear: do not drag me into political maneuvering—let me concentrate on the President’s directive to support efforts in ensuring that Nigeria is secure.
For him, the mission is not politics it is duty. He is trained to save lives, defend the nation, and protect Nigeria’s territorial integrity. And that is exactly what he is doing.
“God passed them.”
Now, as political permutations intensify ahead of the electioneering season, these same forces are launching coordinated attacks placing daily on the frontline of propaganda because they see him as a unifying figure loved across the country.
The opposition is uncomfortable with anyone who possesses strong socio-political capital around , knowing it would make their ambitions harder to achieve. Meanwhile, General Musa remains focused on taking directives and doing what is right to ensure Nigeria’s security an effort Nigerians clearly appreciate.
But they forget one thing:
A man protected by God cannot be brought down by propaganda.
A thousand may fall at his side, ten thousand at his right hand it shall not come near him.
Today, General Christopher Musa Gwabin commands a vast and growing support base across Nigeria spanning over 1,000 platforms, including social media networks, offline structures, youth and women groups, and socio-cultural organizations.
This overwhelming wave of support may unsettle some, but it remains a positive signal and a testament to the foresight of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who recognized his capacity early and entrusted him with national responsibility.
It is both an honour and a privilege to identify with General anytime, anywhere. My Governor, , speaks highly of him, and their relationship remains strong, strategic, and focused on a common goal: ensuring continued progress and the successful re-election of .
It is unfortunate that those of us who openly support General Musa are increasingly being targeted. But we remain undeterred. We do not care what enemies of progress say.

To those calling for his resignation alongside the President this is not activism, it is desperation.
Nigerians are watching. Nigerians understand. And Nigerians are standing firmly with General Musa.
Do not mistake discipline for weakness.
Do not mistake service for ambition.
While critics talk, General Musa is securing Nigeria.
While they speculate, he is delivering results.
Nigeria needs patriots — not noise makers.
Let him do his job.
